Oliver Owl And The Mountain Of Borrowed Starstones
~ The Giant Glass Lanterns ~
Oliver the owl dreamed of building the biggest glass lantern palace in the whole forest. To power his glowing workshop, he borrowed shining starstones from every badger and fox in town. Soon, rows of brilliant lights warmed the woodland canopy, and everyone cheered for the magnificent brightness.
~ The Mountain of Borrowed Pebbles ~
When the autumn chill arrived, the starstone lenders asked for their glowing treasures back to keep their own burrows warm. Oliver hurried to collect his sparkling earnings, but most of the light was still locked inside his grand unfinished engines. He had borrowed far more than he could quickly repay, and the whispering winds turned anxious.
~ A Steadfast Promise ~
Wise old Badger stepped forward with a calm and gentle smile to steady the worried lenders. He helped Oliver trade a portion of his grand palace so every borrowed starstone could safely find its way home. Oliver learned that building great dreams is wonderful, but only when you can carry the weight of your promises.
“Big dreams and borrowed money need careful planning, because true strength comes from keeping every promise you make.”
